Zola Marbury

Zola Marbury, 93, of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Chillicothe, entered this life on April 30, 1915, in Hazard, KY and departed this life at 5:55pm on March 22, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital, Milwaukee. Zola was predeceased by her loving husband, Rev. Baker Marbury; her mother and step-father Sally and Mannion O'Linger; two sisters Mattie Higgins and Mary Williams; and a brother Blondie. She is survived by daughters Cebretta Williams, Geneive (Arthur) Kyles; and Geraldine Kirby; sons John (Rebecca) Marbury; Roy Marbury; and Michael Marbury; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers George (Mattiebell) O'Linger; and Raliegh O'Linger; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, March 30, in the Glorious Church of God, 123 W. Main St., with Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
