Zelma M. (Evans) Tyler, 78, of Chillicothe, died at 3:33am Tuesday, October 25, 2005, in Grant Medical Center. She was born May 30, 1927, in Ross Co., to the late Arno and Mazie Coffenberger Evans. On April 2, 1949, she married John W. Tyler, Jr., who preceded her in death May 5, 2004. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Linda (Carroll) Tate, of Columbus; and Sandra (Tracy) Drake, Chillicothe; grandchildren Jamie (Ben) Snedeker, New Albany, OH; Kimberly (James) Spinner, Little Rock, AR; and Nicholas Drake, Chillicothe; and her sister Gladys Yaple, of Chillicothe. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a great-grandson Christopher Cook; and infant sister, and her sister Evelyn Schwalbach. Mrs. Tyler worked at the former US Shoe Factory, the former Carroll's Chips, and worked doing grocery store demonstrations. Her funeral service and a memorial service for husband, John Tyler, will both be held at 2:00pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Jividen officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9pm Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home.
