Yvonne Stevens

Yvonne A. Stevens Yvonne A. Stevens, 68, of Chillicothe, died February 10, 2006 in her home following an extended illness. She was born June 29, 1937 in Columbus, OH to Thomas L. and Mary E. Cury Swank. On January 16, 1960 she married Jesse T. Stevens, who preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Naomi Kelley, John Stevens, Mary Stevens, and Rebecca Stevens; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Martah Vandayburg, Rebecca Bond, Naomi Murray, and Ruth Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Marion Swank and a sister, Mildred Butler. Mrs. Stevens retired from the State of Ohio as a Comptometer Operator and had attended Business College. She was a member of God's Community Outreach Church and a former Sunday School teacher. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife, especially during the most difficult times in her family's life. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 13, 2006, in the Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor Woodrow Wilson officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
