Wilma J. Hatton, 81, of Frankfort, died at her residence at 4:10am August 6, 2017, following an extended illness. She was born December 24, 1935, in Washington Court House, OH to the late Forest and Jessie (Davis) Holdren. On December 22, 1952, she married Clarence L. Hatton, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1997. Surviving are her son James "Jay" Hatton, Greenfield, daughter Debbie (Jerry) Leedy, son Randy (Cathy) Hatton, and daughter and best friend Cheryl (Tony) Schuer, all of Frankfort; grandchildren: T.C. (Shannan) Lane, Jenny (Josh) Lane-Szatkowski, Nikki (Jason) Gallagher, Kayleigh (Kyle) Rhoades, Randy (Bethany) Hatton II, Brandon Leedy, Jarod (Emily) Conrad, Gabby Schuer, Emily Schuer, Litton Hatton, J.J. Hatton and Journey Hatton; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers Donald and Paul Holdren and a sister Shirley Hardesty. Wilma was a dedicated Christian and a loving mother. She was an inspiration to many. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Adena Cancer Center and NCR Hospice for their exceptional care. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, August 10, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Dan Bennett and her brother-in-law Pastor Marvin Hatton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call Thursday from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.
