William Henry Tackett passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born August 24, 1942, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Henry and Ruchie Tackett.
William is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Follrod) Tackett, his children, Bobby (Pam) Hippen of Columbus, Kimberly (Rod) Johnson of Washington Court House, Melissa (Dr. Jeff) Hanes of Chillicothe, and Jason (Melanie) Tackett of Midway, his grandchildren, Kasey, McKenzie, Ryann, Jessica, and Heidi, and his brother, Emory (Sis) Tackett of Washington Court House. He is preceded in death by his parents, 10 brothers and sisters, and his best friend Rocky.
William spent 38 years working as a woodworker with Colonial Stairs.
At his request, cremation with no services has taken place. Donations in William's memory to Adena Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
