William Romans

William J. "Billy" Romans, 56, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly January 23, 2018, at his home, of an apparent cardiac arrest.   He was born September 27, 1961 in Madison, IN to Freddie and Joyce Harmon Romans, who survive, of Madison, IN. On April 12, 1985 he married Elizabeth Pauline "Paula" Elliott, who died December 27, 2017. Survivors include his parents; his children, Joseph Romans, Madison, IN, Josh (Nicki) Romans, Amanda (Steven) Tolle, and Ashley Romans, all of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren; a sister, Robin (Mike) Gray, and a brother, Randy (Barbara) Romans, both of Madison, IN; his father-in-law, Wilbur "Gene" Elliott, of Frankfot; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pam (Chris) Givens, Frankfort, Terry (John) Sams, Chillicothe, and Scott (Nancy) Elliott, Kingston. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Nicholas; and his mother-in-law, Betty Elliott.   Billy worked for Rodgers Excavating and maintained the Swartz farm, outside Bainbridge.   Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Bruce Hines officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at Haller's on Saturday.
