William F. "Bill" Rinehart, 62, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly September 11, 2021, surrounded by loved ones while vacationing in North Carolina. SERVICES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY October 1, 2021. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday, Oct 1, at the Haller Funeral Home. He was born June 12, 1959, in Chillicothe, to the late Bernard F. and Marjorie L. (Manion) Rinehart. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law William Logan (Molly) Rinehart, of Newark, OH; his daughter and her fiancé Danika Rinehart and Willie Cross, of Chillicothe; granddaughter Isabel Rinehart, Newark; his fiancé Karen Penwell, Chillicothe; his step-mother Shirley Rinehart, Washington C.H.; his sisters Cindy (Chris) Roe, Jackson, OH, and Vicki (Emmitt) Hempstead, Chillicothe; his brother Michael (Tara) Rinehart, Brookville, OH; nephews: Cheyenne Rinehart, Nathan (Courtney) Rinehart, Jacob Roe, Dakota Rinehart, and Forrest (Alishia) Rinehart; and nieces Jessica Trimble and Nikki Rinehart. Bill was predeceased by his parents, his son Dustin Rinehart, a brother Fred Rinehart, the mother of his children, Karen (Herrnstein) Rinehart; a nephew Joey Taylor; and a niece Amanda Batty. Bill was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1977. He retired from Job and Family Services was currently working as a D.S.O. for the US Marshal Service in Southern Ohio. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1976-1978, and was a proud patriot. He enjoyed aviation, fishing, being outdoors, photography, spending time on the range, bourbon and cigars, and especially loved spending time with his family. Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday, Oct 1, at the Haller Funeral Home.
