William Reeves

William E. Reeves, 85, of Chillicothe, died at 2:10am Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born January 14, 1921, to the late Edward and Catherine Geiger Reeves. On September 14, 1974, he married the former R. Eileen Palmer, who survives. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Mary Reeves and June (Don) Ellifritt, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Robert and John Reeves. Bill worked in the banking industry for 40 years at both the Savings Bank and the Huntington Bank, where he served as Vice President. He was a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a 50 year member of the Elks Lodge #52, a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1071, Sertoma Club and the Farm Bureau. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8:00pm.
