He was born in Paris, KY on August 04, 1941, to the late William C. Reed and late Fannie Armstrong (Goodpastor)
He was honorably discharged from the United States Army National Guard and was a member of The American Legion. He ran a welding business for several years and retired with the State of Ohio Transportation Department
He is survived by his five children, William (Brenda) Reed, Todd (Tonya) Reed, James (Deanna) Reed, Eric Reed, and Amanda Reed, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several family and friends
He was predeceased by his brothers, Carl Reed and Robert Reed and his sister, Diana Cash
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at a later date per the family's request
