William Earl Mace, 53, of Frankfort, died 7:10 am, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness. He was born November 23, 1963 in Chillicothe Norman E. Mace and Jo Ann Murphy Mace Estep. In addition to his mother, survivors include a grandson, Cameron P. Weed, of Nova Scotia; a brother, Steven E. (Heather) Mace, of Chillicothe; a step-sister, Julie (Randy) Detty, of Chillicothe, and several additional loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Goble Estep; a step-brother, Mike Estep; and a special grandmother he called Granny (the Wise One). Bill was a professional musician and loved to play music and entertain. Bill appreciated his many friends at Westmoreland. Although Bill was comfortable performing in front of crowds of hundreds of people, he was actually a private person. So, to honor his wishes, there will be no public services.
