William John Krech II, 60, went to be with Jesus on December 20, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer and chronic illness. His devotion to his family and his belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Bill was born on August 10, 1956, in Columbus, OH, to the late Dr. William John Krech, Otorhinolaryngologist at The Ohio State University and Anice Irene, an RN. Bill graduated from Hillsdale College in Michigan in 1978 with a degree in Biology, later receiving a master's degree from the Southern Ohio School of Ministry and also graduating from Southern State as an EMT-P. Bill worked for 29 years as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator before later working, volunteering and teaching as a paramedic. Bill and the love of his life, Joyce Helen, joined their families through marriage on November 15 th , 1989 in Cincinnati, OH. Bill put his faith in God first, something he instilled in all of his children. His wife and children were truly the joy of his life, making each of his ten children feel special in their own way. In addition to teaching his children about God's love, Bill loved to share his favorite things with his family and friends including playing the piano, performing magic and visiting the family cottage at Pelee Island, Ontario. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Creator. Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce Helen and his 10 children; his sons; "Bo", John (Ashley), Samuel (Megan), William John III "BJ" (Betsy), Benjamin (Danielle), Jeremy (Kelsey), Joshua, and Elijah; his daughters Laura and Elizabeth (Hayden).
