William Kaltenbach

William C. Kaltenbach passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 7, 1946 to the late Robert C. and Vivian Nina (Comer) Kaltenbach.
He married Pamela (Bateson) Kaltenbach on November 12, 1967 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He is survived by wife Pamela; his three children, Angela (Julian Bourne) Kaltenbach, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Anthony (Bobbi) Kaltenbach and William (Laura) Smith, both of Chillicothe; his four grandchildren, Galen Kaltenbach, Clara Kaltenbach, William Smith Jr., and Richard Smith, all of Chillicothe; and his sister Janet Kaltenbach. He is preceded in death by his parents, and by his siblings, Robert Kaltenbach Jr., James Kaltenbach, and Judith Kaltenbach.
William was a Graduate of Bishop Flaget School and a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church. After serving in the US Air Force, William and Pamela moved back to Chillicothe where he worked a Dupont before settling in at Kenworth, from which he retired in 2009 after 33 years of service.
Memorial prayers will be held on Monday January 22, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematorium followed by inurnment at St. Margaret Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
