William Garrison

William E. Garrison, 86, of Chillicothe, passed away at his residence following an extended illness, at 10:45 pm, April 27, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born September 11, 1935 in Ross Co. to the late William E. and Clara M. Brandum Garrison.  On May 7, 1959 he married Phyllis A. Davis, who died November 25, 2015.  On August 17, 2018 he married Connie Reed England Garrison, who survives.  Also surviving is his daughter, Teresa A. (Timmothy)  Alexander, of Litchfield Park, AZ; two step children, Jason (Angalee) England of Frankfort and Nathan (Kristi) England of Chillicothe;  five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by a son, Richard Garrison and a grandson Richard Garrison Jr.

Bill retired from Mead Paper in 1993.  He was a member of Scioto Lodge 6 F&AM, all York Rite Bodies, the Aladdin Shriners, the Ross Co. Shrine Club, the Ross Co. Golf Association, and the Chillicothe Evening Lions.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. James Wade officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call 2-4 pm Sunday at Haller's. where a Masonic Service will be held at 4:00 pm.
