William R. Davis William R. Davis, 76, of Bainbridge, formerly of Jeffersonville, died 7:58 am, July 19, 2008, in the Ohio State University Hospitals, unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Firing Squad, will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to funeral at Haller's. He was born March 30, 1932 in South Solon, OH to William A. and Jessie E. Smith Davis. Survivors include his 6 children, Joyce Ann Davila-Dominicci, of Circleville, Debra Jean Smith and Barbara Brady, of Hillsboro, Diane (Chuck Moody) Alexander, of Chillicothe, Lidora (Brent) Page, of Bainbridge, and Wilbur C. Davis, of S. Bloomfield; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Hahn, of Waverly and Betty Bell, of Tampa, FL; and two brothers, Donnie Davis, of Jeffersonville and Calvin Davis, of Arizona. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tontia Suzanne Rene Davis; three sisters, Mary Brill, Dorothy Davis and Hazel Brady; and two brothers, Joe and Herman Davis. Mr. Davis served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired construction worker and a member of AMVETS Post 4.
