William R. "Rey" Bradley, 56, of Chillicothe, died 10:50 am, Sunday, March 27, 2011, at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born November 8, 1954 in Bloomington, IN to William and Pearle Poole Bradley, of Macomb, IL, who survive. Also surviving is his life partner, Cheryl Stone; daughters, Courtney and Angela; stepdaughters, Juliana (Gary Best) Hoylman and Stephanie (Chris Griesheimer) Bushatz; grandchildren, Trai and Mikell Velarde, and Alayna Bradley; step-grandchildren, Alanna, Taylor and Steven Best, Kassandra Bushatz and Zachary Hoylman; a brother, Phil (Ramona) Bradley; two sisters, Ann and Cathy Bradley; a niece, Megan Bradley; a nephew, Curt Bradley; the mother of his children, Kelli Bradley; and special friends, Buck (Vicki) Snow and Ed (Marketa) Vannoy. Mr. Bradley spent 35 years as an educator, most recently as the Athletic Director of Chillicothe High School. He had taught and coached many sports during his career and had received several awards and citations for service. He was a graduate of Virginia State College. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday at the Chillicothe High School Gymnasium, with Pastor Obadiah Harris officiating. Doors will open at 12 pm for the funeral. Friends may call 4-8 pm Wednesday at the CHS Gymnasium. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the CHS Athletic Department program of the donor's choice, Chillicothe High School, 381 Yoctangee Pkwy, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
