Willa Mark

Willa Jane Mark, 79, of Frankfort, went to be with her Lord 7:00 pm, Friday, July 31, 2015, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1935 in Ross Co. to the late George H. and Blanche Marie Ward Mark II. Survivors include her daughter, Merrily J. (Mike) Ball, of Frankfort; five brothers, Tommy Mark, Frankfort, Bob (Ginnie) and Dale (Mary Ellen) Mark, both of Bainbridge, Bill (Donna) Mark, Chillicothe, and George "Buddy" (Sally) Mark III, of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Mark; cousins, Linda Cooper and Judy (Bill) Cottrill; a special caring friend and caregiver, Paulette Blakeman; and a good friend Shirley Sexton. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Jean (Neil) Hertenstein, Julia Ann (George) Tillis, Donna (David) Kellough, Clara (Nick) Byers; and two brothers, Sam and Ronnie Mark. Ms. Mark retired from the Valley House and was head cook with the Ross County Senior Citizens Center Nutrition Program. She attended the Maple Grove Christian Union Church when able. She enjoyed her flowers. She also loved to share her cooking and baking with others. The family would like to thank the staff at Adena ICU for their wonderful care. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday in Twin Township Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
