Wayne A. "Tony" Wingo Wayne A. "Tony" Wingo, 60, of Frankfort, died 6:53 am, Saturday, November 29,2008 in the VA Medical Center, Cincinnati, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's. Tony was born November 21, 1948 in Chillicothe to Warner O. and Gwendolyn E. Harris Wingo. On August 1, 1992 he married Nancy J. Brown, who survives. Also surviving is his son, Jason A. Wingo, of Frankfort; step-children, Anthony Baird, Rama, Catrena, and David Driggs Jr.,; 10 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great grandchildren; and a sister; Jeanie Wingo. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Tony was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He had worked for Wear-Ever, the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe; and retired from the City of Chillicothe. He was a member of the VFW Post 108, AMVETS Post 4, and American Legion Post 62. He was a member of and baptized in Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed hardball and softball and Burmese Style "Bondo" martial arts.
