Wayne Martin Lawton, 79, of Chillicothe, formerly of Cadillac, Michigan, passed away early Monday morning, July 26, 2021 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
He was born September 22, 1941 in Cadillac, Michigan, son of the late Walter Max and Elizabeth Ann (Seehase) Lawton.
Wayne enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 18 on September 8, 1960 and served until May 27, 1963 before being honorably discharged. During his military time, he worked as an Airplane Engine Mechanic.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will be performed. Private burial will take place in Michigan with his family at a later date.
