Wanda Jones

Wanda M. Jones, 81, of Chillicothe, passed away at 5:15am on July 24, 2024, in Logan Elm Health Care Center in Circleville, following an extended illness.

She was born December 22, 1942, in Ross County to the late Everett and Gertrude (Peck) Cretsinger.

Surviving are her children: Kathie LeBeau Carter and Michael LeBeau, both of Florida; Carolyn Jones Lemons, of Texas, and Robert Jones, of Chillicothe; a sister Laura Carolin, of Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Brian Jones; sisters: Rhea Tarbert, Myrtle Barnhart, Nina Zirkles, and Ruth Reed; and brothers: Charles, Everett and Lloyd Cretsinger.

Wanda loved her family deeply, often traveling to many parts of the country over the years to see them. She loved to cook and enjoyed planting flowers.  Feeding and watching birds brought her great joy.  She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
