Wanda E. Hopkins, 85, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in Heartland of Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, May 27, in the Haller Funeral Home, with ministers William Hopkins and Jerry Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00pm in the Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester. Friends may call Tuesday from 9am until 11am at Haller Funeral Home. Wanda was born January 23, 1923, in Elm Grove, OH, to the late Floyd and Jessie Powell Mustard. She is survived by her step-children: William (Barbara) Hopkins, Cold Spring, KY; Carl (Leta) Hopkins, Bloomingdale, OH; June (Archie) Morris, Scio, OH; Art (Linda) Hopkins, Canton, OH; Don (Marilyn) Hopkins, Canton, OH; Earl (Peggy) Hopkins, Wooster, OH; Joyce (Dave) Gladman, Sewickley, PA; Martha (David) Walton, Independence, OR; numerous step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law Marie (Robert "Red") Baer, Chillicothe; and special nieces and nephew Sandy Baer; and Tim (Helen) Baer. She was predeceased by her former husbands Leonard Hess in 1979; and John Hopkins in 1989; six step-children; and a nephew, Gary Baer. Wanda was a member of the Ross Co. Church of Christ. She had worked at the former Julian Shoe Factory in Columbus, OH.
