Walter W. Mitchell Walter W. Mitchell, 65, of Chillicothe, died 8:00 am, Tuesday December 11, 2007, in his home, unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, Marlin Kellough officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1 Thursday at Haller's. He was born October 13, 1942 in Ross Co. to Virgil W. and Mary C. Daniels Mitchell. Survivors include his daughter, Shelley (Gary) Osborne, of Londonderry; three grandchildren, Wesley Finley, and Tyler and Jordan Osborne; three sisters, Martha Margaret McDonald and Julia (James) Uhrig, both of Chillicothe, and Mildred Hamilton of Tarlton; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Nancy (John) Allen, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Russell Uhrig Jr.; three special caregivers, Chrissy Mitchell, Amy Ross, and Linda Peoples; and special friends, Monte and Judy Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Donna Jean Uhrig. Mr. Mitchell was a 1961 graduate of Huntington High School; a former farmer; and worked for Collins Packing in Greenfield.
