Walter Eugene Griffie

Walter P. Griffie, 69, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on July 4, 2026. He was born on July 10, 1956 to the late Walter E. Gray and Lona Marie Lott.

He is survived by his brother Phillip (Roberta) Griffie of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Jill Polen; half-sisters, Crystal and Regina Gray; and others he considered brothers and sisters, Vicki, Eddie, Tina Wilber, Mary Paul, and Wanda.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Bland, Shirley (Patty) Eblin, Sondra “Sandy” (Keith) Huffman, Geraldine “Gerri” (Leonard) Ward, and Carol (Candy) Rudert.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public services.
