W. Allen

Walter Franklin "Frank" Allen, 59, of Chillicothe, died at 8:36am Sunday, June 18, 2006, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1946, in Gallipolis, OH, to Robert F. and Jo Ann Morgan Allen. On June 7, 1995, he married the former Darlene Jarrell, who survives. Also surviving are his son Anthony F. Allen, Kingston; daughter and son-in-law Amy (Shane) Cottrill, step-daughter Tonya (Shaun) Boler, all of Chillicothe; step-son Anthony Arledge, Circleville; his mother and her companion, Doug Ogden, Chillicothe; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bonnie (Carl) Buskirk, Alberta (Terry) Seymour, Carleen (Kirk) Dozer, Merl (Betty) Jarrell, Don (Paula) Jarrell, and Ronnie (Vickie) Jarrell. He was predeceased by his father. Frank retired from the Mead Paper Co. in 2002 where he worked as a computer operator. He was US Marine Corp Veteran, member of the AmVets, Mead Local 735, and the First Christian Church in Kentucky. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Willard McCray officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
