Vivian Williams

Vivian Inez Williams, 93, of Chillicothe, went to be with her husband, the love of her life, 8:03 pm, April 20, 2014, following an extended illness.   She was born May 26, 1920 in Goldsboro, NC to the late Govna and Elizabeth Wright Browder.  She married William Nelson Williams Jr., who preceded her in death.  Survivors include two sons, Thomas Michael Williams, and his spouse and Ronald Patrick Williams, and his spouse; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many dear friend through the years, too numerous to name.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Mickey Batten.   Mrs. Williams was a telephone operator, a bookkeeper, and a bus driver as well as a military spouse and most importantly a mother.   Private graveside services will be held in the Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton,Virginia, at the convenience of the family.  Calling hours will not be observed.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Wounded Warriors.
