Vivian Welshimer

Vivian L. Welshimer, 73, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born November 12, 1940, in Ross County to the late Floyd E. and Eleanor A. (Spetnagel) Kohn. On December 26, 1958, she married Donald C. Welshimer, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her daughter Teresa Hatfield, Kingston; grandsons Donald C. Welshimer III, Jonathan (Jennifer) Welshimer, all of Tennessee; and Joshua Hatfield, Kingston; her great-granddaughter Ashtyn Welshimer, TN; sisters Sue Holdren and Pat Wilson, both of Chillicothe; her brother Johnny (Melinda) Kohn, Pickerington; and her step-father Douglas L. Richards, Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her parents and her son Donald C. Welshimer, Jr. Vivian was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1959. She was a member of the First Church of God and enjoyed her flower garden and especially enjoyed caring for and being with her family. A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
