Virginia Martin

Virginia L. "Ginny" Martin, 81, of Kinnamon Lane, Chillicothe, died at 9:47am Friday, May 30, 2014, following an extended illness. She was born May 31, 1932, in Nelsonville, OH to the late Wallace and Ella (Green) Harrell. On October 8, 1955, she married Paul E. Martin, who preceded her in death on August 3, 1998. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Robert E. (Terri) Martin; and Ronny L. Martin, all of Chillicothe. Ginny was a graduate of Union-Scioto High School, Class of 1950. She then went to work at the VA Medical Center for six years. She attended Hallsville Community Methodist Church. Ginny was an animal lover. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, June 3, at Floral Hills Memory Garden with Rev. David Titler officiating. At her request, calling hours will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill Industries, 462 E. 2nd St., Chillicothe.
