Virginia R. Kearney Virginia Ruth Dresbach Kearney, after an extended illness, passed from this life at 12:05 am, April 12, 2008. She had resided for the past five years in Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am, Friday, April 25, 2008 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the family plot at Hallsville Cemetery. Following graveside services, lunch will be served in St. Mary's Family Life Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the Mass in the old convent at 61 S. Paint St., next to the church. Parking is available in the rear. She was born September 26, 1926, in Chillicothe, to Nolan Grant and Kathryn Anne Seeling Dresbach. A world traveler and talented photographer, she was an independent woman ahead of her time. She is survived by a sister, Nolene Parker, of Circleville, OH; a niece and nephew, Ann and Rex Parker; a daughter, Diane Pennock, of Frankfort, OH; two granddaughters, Zoe Horito, of Frankfort, OH and Phoebe Gargus, of Lakeland, FL; a grandson-in-law, Scott Gargus, of Lakeland, FL; and three great-grandchildren, Autumn Horito and Jacob and Jesse Gargus. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
