Virginia Jones

Virginia M. (Weaver) Jones, 90, of Chillicothe, died at 11:40am Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Westmoreland Place. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday at the Haller Funeral Home with her son, Bob Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8pm Thursday and 1 hour prior to the funeral Friday at Haller Funeral Home. Virginia was born May 21, 1917, in Chillicothe to the late Arthur and Mary (Morris) Banks. On May 9, 1937, she married Glenn J. Weaver, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 3, 1976. She later married Johnnie Jones who also preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law Glenn J. "Johnny" (Yolanda) Weaver, Jr., Arroyos, CA; Robert E. "Bob" (Juanita) Weaver, Taylor, MI; grandchildren Robert (Julie) Weaver, Jr., Houston, TX; Christina (Sam) Stratford, Woodhaven, MI; Annette Weaver, Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren Kyle and Chad Stratford, Woodhaven, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Carl and Bud Banks. Virginia was a member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening.
