Virginia Cottrill

Virginia Ree (Cydrus) Cottrill, age 62, of Chillicothe passed away May 22nd at her home following an extended illness. She was born, September 24, 1946 to the late Hayward and Dollie Graves. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Ellis A. Cydrus; and a sister, Evelyn Hopper; and her loving companion, Bell Bell. Surviving is her husband, Charles (Doc) Cottrill; also two sons, Steven Cydrus, Rodney and Rebecca (copper) Cydrus of Chillicothe; stepchildren, Patti Wheeler of Arkansas, Shane and Jeanie Cottrill, Chas and Jimmy Cottrill all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ben, Caleb, Jessy, Jenaree, Tannis, Grant, Jacob, Isaac, Amanda, Toby and Chelsea; mother-in-law, Kitty Cottrill; two brothers, Hayward and David Graves all of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; a special "adopted" son, Steven Painter; several other close family and friends. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who was full of life and deeply loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Her request was to be Cremated and to have a celebration of life gathering with her close family and friends which will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Hilltop Mission Church on Lunbeck Road in Chillicothe.
