Violet Fisher

Violet L. (Price) Fisher, 75, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2018, at her home following an extended illness. She was born December 7, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late Herbert and Kathryn (Butterbaugh) Price. She married Stanley J. Fisher, and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. In addition to her husband, Violet is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth (Curtis) Rinehart, and Christina (Donald) Wyant, both of Chillicothe; 5 grandchildren, Casey, Brittany, Mikayla, Abby, and Nicholas; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Violet was a graduate of Centralia High School and went on to work and retire from Adena Hospital following more than 20 years of employment. In her free time, she loved making crafts and sewing. She created prom dresses for her daughters, made quilts, and even dolls. She was also an avid gardener and loved all kinds of flowers. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00am until the time of the service.
