surrounded by
her
family
at Riverside
Methodist Hospital following
a
brief illness.
She was born May 7,
1957, to Byron
and Florence Barney
in Vinton
County.
Vickie is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Dennis Clary; daughters, Brigitte (Zach) Carroll of Chillicothe, Jennifer (Eric) Bartholomew of Fayetteville, NC, Katrina (Josh) Hamilton of Parkton, NC, and Christy Clary of Lake Waynoka; grandchildren, Chloe, Elijah and llleana Carroll, Zaryn and Hayden Bartholomew, Sidney and Braxton Hamilton; bonus daughters, Brandi Campbell and Erin Williams, sister Mae Atwood, brother Emmitt {Ruth) Barney, mother-in-law Joyce Clary, many nieces and nephews, family and special friends that will miss her .
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol "Irene" Conner, bother Ronald Barney, and father-in-law Milford Clary.
Vickie loved to read, garden, drink coffee, crochet items for her family, and cook and bake for friends and family .
A celebration of life will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm at the multi-purpose building at the Ross County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 6, 2024 . Friends and family are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in her name at any Vinton/Ross County Banking Center to help with expenses.
