Vicki Pohlig

Vicki L. Pohlig, 82, of Chillicothe, died December 29, 2023, at her residence.

She was born April 21, 1941, in Morehead City, NC, to the late Lester W. and Sybil C. (Lawrence) Willis.  On March 9, 1985, she married Thomas J. Pohlig, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2021.

Surviving are her children: James (Pam) Seeman, of Bow, NH, Nancy K. "Kate" (Arden) Gill, of Chillicothe; step-children: Thomas J. (Cheryl) Pohlig III, Beate A. (Jill Connell) Pohlig, John H. Pohlig, Ingrid E. (Keith) Hunter; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister Rebecca "Becky" Willis; and her former husband John A. Seeman, of St. Augustine, FL, the father of Jim and Kate.  In addition to her husband Tom, she was predeceased by a brother Randolph "Randy" Willis.

Vicki leaves many friends and relatives from Scituate, MA; Westfield and Cape May, NJ, Morehead City, NC, and Chillicothe, OH, and valued each of them. Vicki was a gifted painter, and an avid buff of history and genealogy.  She volunteered for many years at the History Museum of Carteret County in Morehead City, NC.

Private graveside services will be held in Grandview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  The family respectfully requests no flowers or donations, just condolences and prayers.
