Vicki A. Nichols, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022, at the Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, following an illness.
She was born September 2, 1953 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Guy and Margaret (Quick) Neighborgal. On March 21, 1980, she married her beloved husband, Stanley Arthur Nichols, Sr., who preceded her in death on October 8, 2018.
Surviving are their four children, Danny (Michelle) Hines, Amanda (John) Foster, Angela Haines, and Stanley Nichols, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; her close childhood friend, Carla Goodwill; as well as numerous other family members, close friends, and her beloved church family.
Vicki worked as a medical office coordinator with numerous physicians over the years. She was a longtime member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church in Chillicothe, where she volunteered countless hours towards small group ministries. Vicki will forever be remembered by her family for her love of helping others in need.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Walnut Street UMC with Pastor Therese officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Walnut St. UMC in her honor.
