Veronica L. Tackett Veronica L. "Roni" Tackett, 48, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008, in her home, unexpectedly. A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2008, in the Haller Funeral Home. She was born June 19, 1960 in Chillicothe to the late Barbara L. (Woods) Michaels. Survivors include her father, Gerald Michaels; a daughter, Rebecca Hardesty (Robert) Short; a son, Jerald J Hundley, both of Chillicothe a grandson, Robert Dalton Short; and a granddaughter, Cherich Louise Hardesty. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Hundley. Roni had many friends and relatives that she held close to her heart, including Eugene "Banger" Staffan and Christina Melott and children, whom she loved like a daughter and grandchildren. She loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding with her friends when possible. She was known by many cycle friends as "Gypsy". Memorial contributions may be made to the Haller Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
