V. Stewart

Verlyne "Sally" Stewart, 81, of Chillicothe, died at 8:15am Sunday June 22, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Valhalla Cemetery, Birmingham, AL. Sally was born October 1, 1926, in Birmingham, AL to the late Rufus and Emaline Howell Mays. She was the widow of E.R. Stewart, who preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy (Richard) Arn, Slippery Rock, PA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law James (Cecile) Mays; and a dear friend Ursula Comstock, all of Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ross Co. Humane Society, 2308A Lick Run Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
