Treda Hobensack

Treda M. Hobensack, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away early Thursday morning, September 8, 2022 at the Vineyards at Concord in Frankfort, following an extended illness.
She was born November 2, 1936, in Whitesville, West Virginia, daughter of the late J.H. and Olive Treda (Purnell) Jones. On April 1, 1983, she married Corwin Edward Hobensack, who preceded her in death on January 18, 2014.
Surviving is her step-son, John (Karen) Hobensack; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Cynthia J. Heber, Matthew Scott Larson, and David L. Larson II; a grandson, Benjamin Heber, and four brothers, Jack (Phyllis) Jones, Edward (Beulah) Jones, Bob (Hermie) Jones, and Bill Jones.
Treda worked as a Court Reporter for the City of Chillicothe for many years.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday evening at the funeral home from 5:00pm-7:00pm for calling hours.
