Tommy Conaway, a cherished resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at the age of 66. Born and raised in Chillicothe, Tommy touched many lives with his quiet demeanor, warmth, dedication, and unwavering spirit.

Tommy was born on January 5th, 1960, to parents Glenn and Mary Conaway. Raised in a loving household, Tommy was instilled with strong values and a commitment to community service that followed him throughout his life.

Tommy proudly served in the Army National Guard for two decades, dedicating 20 years of his life to protecting our nation. His service to the country was a testament to his character and fortitude, which he carried over into his civilian life, working as a dedicated construction worker with IBI Construction for over 20 years. Tommy's work ethic and leadership at IBI were admired by colleagues and clients alike.

Away from work, Tommy devoted his time to his great passion—riding his beloved Harley motorcycle. Those who knew Tommy would often see him riding the open roads, the wind in his hair and a smile on his face.

Tommy is survived by his life long partner, Sarah Conaway, with whom he shared many cherished memories. He leaves behind his beloved children, Natasha Conaway and Kiah Hart, both of whom he adored and guided throughout their lives. Tommy's legacy continues through his grandchildren—Alaythia Hart, George Hart III, Jerricka Wagner, Jasmine Conaway, and Zackiariah Wagner—each of whom brought immense joy to his later years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Mary Conaway, and his brother, Glenn Conaway, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

Tommy's presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories he left behind will forever remain in our hearts. In honoring his life, let us continue to celebrate his joy for roaring engines and the open road.
