Todd Williamson

Todd (Willie) A. Williamson, 57, of Newark, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Licking Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born March 3, 1966 in Chillicothe, to the late Wayne E. and Ruth Ann (Prater) Williamson.

Todd was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1984. He went on to work for the Sanctuary Senior Living of Newark, serving as the property manager for many years. Todd was a hard worker and was well liked by all of the tenants. He often joked that he had over forty pairs of extended grandparents at the sanctuary. He will be missed beyond measure.

Surviving is his sister, Camille (Rick) Leadingham; brother, Mark Williamson; niece, Danielle (Shondric) Steiner; special friend, Mary Beth Karr; all of Chillicothe; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.

Anyone who knew Todd would agree he was the life of the party and always loved eating great food and cooking. He loved the beach, all animals, plants, growing his amazing sunflowers and listening to music. Todd was a lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan revealed by his passion for collecting Buckeye memorabilia. He had a strong sense of fashion and only wore the best cologne. He was a member of the American Legion Post 62.

Todd will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a unique individual who had an impact on the lives of so many.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the staff and special nurse Katie Pennington of Hospice of Central Ohio for the compassionate care given to Todd.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, September 25 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home. Todd was a man of many fashions, come in your most comfortable style!
