On Saturday, November 13, 2010, Tod Burton Gray, 49, of Chillicothe, suffered a massive heart attack and died unexpectedly at his residence, with his loving fiancée Amanda Scott at his side. He was born March 18, 1961 in Chillicothe, OH. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Alice Watkins Gray, of Chillicothe. He left two children to mourn his loss, Keara Madru and Blake Madru, along with two grandchildren, Shailey and Gabriel. Also surviving is a sister, Misty Hatmacher and her husband Randy; two nephews, Lloyd Gray Prater and Taylor Hatmacher; and Victoria Scott, daughter of his fiancée. Tod was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1626. He loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. He loved life and he lived it to its fullest. He was always in a good mood and always there to cheer you up. He was a wonderful son, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Dave Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Denver Rd., Waverly. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
