Tina Marie Nelson

Tina Marie Nelson, a beloved resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on Friday, July 15th, 1955, in Springfield, Ohio, Tina lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness.

Tina is survived by her loving children: Milisa Dalton of Chillicothe, Michael Dalton of Frankfort, Anthony Dalton of Frankfort, and Wahneda (Anthony) Clark of Chillicothe. She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, cherishing each with boundless affection.

Her siblings, Louise Pearson of Stout, John (Tonya) Shaw of Springfield, Tom (Brandy) Shaw of Springfield, and Mary (Roger) Woods of Chillicothe, also mourn her passing. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Edward and Marjorie Jean (Hill) Shaw, and her sister, Brenda Anderson.

Tina earned her GED through Shawnee State and dedicated many years to working in housekeeping at Liberty Village, where her big smile and contagious laugh left an indelible mark. Her colleagues and those she cared for remember her as a hard worker with a generous heart, eager to help anyone in need.

In her leisure time, Tina enjoyed gardening, finding peace and happiness in nurturing nature. Her green thumb and dedication to her plants reflected her nurturing character and her love for spreading beauty.

Tina's memory will forever live in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and joy. Tina's warmth and goodwill touched many, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate her life by emulating her compassion and enthusiasm for helping others.

In accordance with Tina's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
