Timothy Duane Neff, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away early Monday morning, June 22, 2020, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born February 11, 1952, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Stanley Duane and LouElla (Boydston) Neff. On June 16, 2007, he married Charlene P. (Jackson) Neff who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Aaron Goins, Lakisha Halley, and Tatum Neff; four step-children, Steven Jackson, Jeremy Brown, Brittney Cain, and Chaz Cain; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; as well as his siblings, Martha Neff, Janet Neff, Shauna (Alphonso) McCrary, Charles Neff, Kevin (Carmen) Neff, Anita Neff, Donna Neff, and Lori Neff.
Tim was a graduate of Zanesville High School. He went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked as an Insurance Broker for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ, and a member of the American Legion. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering around on his car, and loved taking motorcycle trips.
A private family service at the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ is being held at the convenience of the family.
