Timothy Ray Maxie, 55, of Chillicothe, went Home to be with his Lord, on Tuesday evening, October 24, 2017. He was born December 12, 1961, in Pensacola, FL, to Hershel Ray Maxie and to the late Billie Murriel Thompson. Tim is survived by his wife, Mari Lynne Maxie, of Winlock, WA; 2 sons, Daniel Albert Maxie, of Lacey, WA, and Jeffery David Maxie, of Anchorage, AK; his father, Hershel Ray Maxie and step-mother, Solweig Dagmar Maxie; his step-brother, Tony Glenn, of Anchorage; three step-sisters, Connie Tudor, Cindy Fulp, and Tina Campbell; an aunt, Sandy Whaley; and an uncle, Jerry Maxie. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Connie Lee Maxie, his daughter, Tiffany Yvonne Maxie; his grandparents, Albert (Rose) Thompson, and George (Delphia) Maxie, and an uncle, Art Maxie. Tim was well known in the Chillicothe, Ohio area for his Scooby-Doo impressions, and his ability to brighten everyone's day while working at Wal-Mart in town. He was a member of the Salvation Army, and had been for nearly 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed dressing up in various costumes where he would go visit children admitted to local hospitals. Tim also collected movies, flags, guns, and bibles. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm Friday, November 3, 2017 at Floral Hills Memory Garden with Lieutenant Abraham Garrett and Captain Heidi Garrett officiating. A memorial service and dinner will follow at 2:00pm Friday, held at the Salvation Army, 171 E. 4 th Street, Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army in his honor.
