Timothy Alan Beavers, 52, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2018.
He was born September 11, 1965 in Chillicothe, to Howard William Beavers and Betsy (Ross) Beavers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Brooklynn Eleanor (Isaiah) McGowen; his granddaughter, Alana Grace McGowen; a brother, Bill (Niska) Beavers, his nieces and nephew, Brittany Elyse Baker, Jordyn Marie Baker, and Alec William Beavers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Howard William Beavers, Grandparents, Howard and Myrtle Beavers and Glen and Eleanor Ross and nephew Marcus Isaiah Beavers.
Tim was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1983. He went on to serve in the United States Navy where he served from 1984-1986. He then worked at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio and the Mead Paper Company. Before his retirement he was well known in Ross County for his heavy involvement in high school and youth sports working as a basketball, baseball, and football official. He later enrolled at Ohio University – Chillicothe and obtained his A.S. in Applied Business in 2014. He was nearly finished in obtaining his B.S. in Applied Management at OUC. In his free time, he loved doing anything involving sports. He loved to keep statistics and was known to even keep them for the sports video games he played with friends. He even started a local sports video game league. Tim enjoyed gardening, reading Tom Clancy novels, the history of Tecumseh and biographies. At one time he also played the drums in a local church band.
On Friday, September 21, 2018, a group of Tim's local friends gathered at his old stomping grounds, Poland Park, and celebrated his life.
Timmy knew the Bible and loved God. He is at peace now.
