Tim Mosley

October 28, 1942 — June 18, 2024

Tim Weaver Mosley went home to be with his Lord on June 18 th , 2024 at the age of 81.  He was born on October 28 th , 1942 to Frankie F Mosley and Mildred L Mosley (Weaver) in Chillicothe, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen S Mosley (Wingo), brothers Gerald Mosley, Donald Mosley, and George Mosley, sisters Patsy Bates and Jacqueline Smith, and parents Frankie and Mildred Mosley.

Tim is survived by his son, Darren Mosley (partner Patricia Cousins) of Chillicothe, daughter Marcy (Zachary) Robbins of Pickerington, OH and a special daughter of the family Tiria Hudson, grandchildren, Jae Mosley, Kaylin Mosley, and Hope Mosley, and he will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  His presence is deeply missed and forever cherished with the promise of reunion in the Lord.

Tim loved jazz music, Earth, Wind & Fire (his favorite), George Benson, Al Jarreau, Jimmy Smith, Earl Klugh, Norman Brown and anyone that had smooth organ, finger pickin guitar, and good lyrics. Besides his jams he enjoyed his sports, basketball, baseball, and football so much, so he supported Darren's sports endeavors throughout fatherhood.  He looked forward to Wimbledon every year, and became a close connection to him and his granddaughter Kaylin since she went on to play tennis and supported her endeavors.

He worked over 35 years at the Chillicothe VA at Building 35A after serving his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Upon retirement he relaxed and enjoyed being Papaw to his granddaughters, listening to jazz and going to the yearly Jazz Festival in Columbus, seeing Norman Brown in concert, Earl Klugh live, watching his Patrick "My Homie" Mahomes on TV and "chow mow" on food.
