Thurman Zimmerman, age 57, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away after a lengthy health battle. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. More than that, he was an unrelenting servant of our Heavenly Father, Jehovah God. In his final months, he displayed the courage of David, the strength of Samson, and the perseverance of Job. He loved his children, adored his grandchildren, and cherished his congregation. In his final days, his faith never wavered; in fact, it grew stronger. He did not worry about his own salvation, but only that of his children and the people he loved. He never stopped preaching the good news of Jehovah’s Kingdom.
He is survived by his children: Michael (Stephanie) Brown, Thurman (Jacqueline) Zimmerman, Latoshia (Ryan) Beatty, Manessa (Zechary) Lambert, Tyler Zimmerman, and Jasmine Vanderpool-Zimmerman; as well as their mother, Angela Zimmerman. He is also survived by his sisters, Anna Zimmerman and Novella Bruner of Chillicothe; his brothers, Herbert Zimmerman of Florida and Kyle Zimmerman of Pennsylvania; and by 16 grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, December 5th at 6:30pm, located at 137 University Drive in Chillicothe, Ohio.
