Tom Sullivan, 70, of Waverly, passed away at his home on August 1, 2010, at 1:15am following an extended illness. Tom was born April 10, 1940, in Greenup, KY, to Samuel Monroe and Sally Manual Sullivan. On April 9, 1960, he married the love of his life Linda K. Felts, whom he loved and cherished dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Roe and Sally Sullivan; brothers Earl, Orville and Sam Sullivan; and a granddaughter Elizabeth Sullivan. He is survived by his wife, Linda; their children: Rusty (Ellen) Sullivan; Troy and Frank Sullivan; Kim Hollis; Jamie (Loren) Russell, all of Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Jim Sullivan, of Greenup, KY; Joe, Clyde, Dave and Marshal Sullivan, all of Chillicothe; sisters Kay Rhoads; Phyllis Leasure; Cathy Felts; and Linda Steele, all of Chillicothe; and a special nephew and his wife Jason and Tammy Sullivan. Tom retired from being the owner and operator of Sullivan's Logging. He also attended Shady Glen Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 4, at the Shady Glen Church with Pastor Danny Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. The immediate family will have a private viewing early Tuesday afternoon. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Adena Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe.
