Thomas Seeley

Thomas Michael Seeley, 71, of Chillicothe, died 1:30 pm, Friday, December 14, 2018, at his home, following an extended illness.   He was born January 12, 1947 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Amos and Helen Wills Seeley. On November 23, 1967 he married Catherine I. Redman Seeley, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Shauna (Dave) Shepherd, Bay Village, OH, Shelby (Mark) Erslan, Chillicothe, and T. J. (Nicole) Seeley, Williamsport, OH; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Knapp, Nancy (John) Vinson, and Jean Seeley; two brothers, Joe (Marly) Seeley and Paul (Bev) Seeley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his father-in-law, Richard Redman; and a brother-in-law, Rick Redman.   Tom was a graduate of Ohio University and Xavier University. He retired as a guidance counselor from Southeastern High School in 1997. He was a former member of Grace Methodist Church, Waverly and attended Walnut St. United Methodist Church.   Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Joe Ziraldo and Dave Burris officiating. Friends may call 1-3:00 pm Sunday at Haller's.   Memorial contributions may be made to the SST Scholarship, Columbus Foundation, 1234 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205, to benefit area high school graduates.
