Thomas Roy

Thomas L. Roy, 65, of Chillicothe, died 7:30 am, Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home, following an extended illness.   He was born July 29, 1952 in Chillicothe to the late Charles M. and Helen G. Roy.  On April 28, 1973 he married Kathleen P. McNaughton, who survives.  Also surviving are three sons, Zackary (Beth) Roy, Circleville, Seth (June) Roy, Vermillion, and Ethan (Liz Knight) Roy, Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Nate, Gabe, Joseph, Oliver and Daniel Roy; five siblings, Charles (Joy) Roy, Long Beach, CA, Jane (Allan) George, Dublin, OH, Beverly (Gary) Agin, Circleville, Marge (Kenney) Dille, Laurelville, Mary (Ralph) Trapasso, and Robin (Phil) Kasler, all of Circleville; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by six siblings, Joanne Judy, Patricia Kolsbun, Clara Hurles, Dorothy Adkins, Edward Roy and David Roy.   Tom was a graduate of Circleville High School and retired as a control mechanic from DuPont.  He was a member of St. Mary Church, Waverly and St. Peter Church, Chillicothe.   The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Mary Church, Waverly, Rev. Sean Dooley, Celebrant.  Cremation will follow.  Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, where a wake service will be held at 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions be made to the donor's charity in Tom's name.
