Thomas J. Pohlig, 80, of Chillicothe died July 4, 2021 at his residence.
He was born August 29, 1940 in Darby, PA to the late Thomas J. and Anna M. Hare Pohlig. In 1985 he married Vicki L. Willis Pohlig, who survives. Also surviving are his children and step-children, Thomas J. (Cheryl) Pohlig III, Beate A. (Jill Connell) Pohlig, John H. Pohlig, Ingrid E. (Keith) Hunter, James W. (Pam) Seeman, Nancy K. "Katie" (Arden) Gill, and William (Carole) Curbello; numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, James A. Pohlig; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary L. Frank.
Thomas was a US Army veteran, a professional and volunteer firefighter, enjoyed skydiving and was a Pathfinder. He retired from New Jersey Bell, (now Verizon), as a cable splicer in 2001.
Private graveside services will be held in New Jersey at the convenience of the family. The family respectfully requests no flowers or donations, just condolences and prayers.
