Thomas Moss

Thomas 'Tommy' Moss loved life, loved his family and most of all, loved his wife of 63 years, Peggy. He died on October 1, 2015 at age 84. Throughout his final years suffering in chronic pain, he maintained a grateful, kind and loving spirit. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Darlene and Robin Moss, and a son, Mark Tommy (Jane) Moss; grandchildren Madison, Alisha, Jamie, Unique, Jessica, Ryan and Andrew; great grandchildren Shailen, Gage, Levi, Clay, Aiden, Akeelius and Symphony. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Chauncey Moss, siblings Delbert, Luther, Mary and Calvin. He retired from Mead Corporation in 1991 with 39 years of service. Tommy was known by many for his passion and pursuits over the years for archery, riding Harley's and building three-wheelers, quick-draw and trick shooting, weight-lifting and physical feats. He will be sadly missed by family, but we hope to see him again on this earth where he can once again love life. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends and family may call from 1:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
